ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Fellowship announcement: Sept 23rd meeting is off site. Details are as follows:
Members who intend on visiting the Foot Path that we helped sponsor are asked to meet at the Rockway Glen Golf Course for 6pm SHARP. We will carpool from there and be back to the club for the wine tasting set for 6:45. Dinner will be served around 7:30. The sign up sheet is in circulation. We are 23 signed up to date. The restaurant cut off is 30. If you are interested in attending do not delay.
2. Gary Chard seeking out a team of very brave male members to team up and join in Gillian's Place annual fundraiser 'walk a mile in her shoes'. the event takes place at the Pen Center on Sat. Oct 17 at 11 am. So far Peter, Emilio and Phil have jumped in with both feet!
3. Clarice updated all on the fence situation at CAP. Our fence is down and currently stored at the Geneva Street Depot. The Port Dalhousie group will contact her soon once they determine where they will install our fence. The new fence is in place at Lock 1 and looks pretty good.
4. Marc produced a cheque for $1,150 from Scott Colby, the design and build guy, of our Rotary Wheel at CAP. He was storing our dry dock artifacts but needed to reclaim the storage space. Seeing as we are no longer going forward with the restoration of same, he sold it for scrap and donated the proceeds to the club.
5. Sandi asking members to please read the email she sent this week.  If you did not receive tax receipts for their annual foundation donation that was emailed to you in June 205 please email her sandichard@gmail.com. To date, our club has donated over $100,000 to the Foundation.  Also if you would like to up your foundation giving as they are converted to USA dollars so we can again become an every member every year club that would be appreciate.  We have had a few members do this but to reach our goal of 100 usa each we need more
