Our first fundraiser for the new year is fast approaching.  Gary and his committee have been busy getting organized for perogies, hamburgers, hotdogs, watermelon, hot and cold tea and coffee and pickles on a stick for this weekend.  He is still looking for help on a few time slots and especially for clean up on Monday.  Please email or call if you can help or bring a friend and let him see Rotary in Action.
Willy has been busy organizing for our second fundraiser in September our 28th Annual Lobsterfest.  Please try to be social and post to your own facebook pages to promote this event.  Ticket sales are the crucial to its success.  https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/rotary-lobsterfest-2016-tickets-25813219033?aff=es2   Can you used to sell tickets on Eventbrite to your friends.  Or you can use our facebook account as well.
Mary has almost filled bingo until December with only two spots available.  This has started to become a profitable two hours for our club. 
The August 3rd meeting we will be having our meeting on the rooftop of the Holiday Inn.  I am hoping we can all mix and mingle and talk about our goals for our committees this year.  Great time to bring a new member, partner, employee to celebrate the Membership and New Club Development Month in our rotary calendar.
Please plan to attend when our District Governor Marlee attends the meeting on August 17.  Marlee has asked if partners would like to attend she would love to meet them and also introduce you to her husband Bill. 
Clarice is organizing a social Horseracing for Tuesday August 23 please see Clarice to sign up.
One change this year is Annette will be in charge of Attendance.  If you attend a meeting other than our regular meeting you must let her know.   We will have a binder at the registration desk for other meeting, socials, anything you have done for rotary for you to sign up your makeups.  Please help Annette and sign the book or let her know.  As previous fundraiser chairperson will be handing in the hours for fundraisers. 
Looking for artists.  Our logo we have used for the last 30 years needs to be updated to work with all the social media, websites.  Do we have a talent in our club or know someone that would like to take this task on?
