The Rotary Club of St Catharines Lakeshore is a member of Rotary International, the world’s first service club organization. Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders who volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. 

 

Our club strives to help those here at home and around the world with various projects and fundraisers. Our programs, among others, include youth services, hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and the environment.

 

And Rotarians don’t forget to have a good time while we are at it. Rotary was founded on fellowship and our Social Committee makes sure this continues today. Through meetings, fundraisers, and club projects, we provide opportunities to develop enduring friendships. Club members who travel also have friendly contacts in almost every city of the world.

What impact can one donation have on the world?

 

It can save a life. A child can be protected from polio with as little as 60 cents. Our partners make your donation go even farther. For every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $2.
