Rotarian Courtney Usborne, accompanied by her mother Susan and Daughter Emmalena, took the club through an audiovisual presentation covering her recent (May 2019) one week trip to Nepal to assist the country in rebuilding after the devastating April 25, 2015 earthquake. Nearly 9,000 people were killed and more than 22,000 injured with more than 6.6 million people  directly affected and over one million of them rendered homeless.

Courtney and Susan (also a Rotarian), along with other Ontario Rotarians, teamed up with the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel, Nepal to give some hands on help by providing physical labour and donating school supplies including desks and computers in rebuilding the country.
