The Club, Membership Chair Beth Fleeton and ADG Sue Foster were pleased to induct Baruc at our January 22nd Meeting.
The father of two beautiful girls along with his wife Carolina Marques, Baruc “was born in a small town in Brazil with limited prospects”. He managed to build a stable and prosperous life in Brazil after completing his studies in Business Administration and working for about 15 years in the heavy construction machinery industry. However, driven by the dream of exploring the world, Baruc and his family left everything behind and moved to Canada in search of a new lifestyle. Now three years later, he is in the process of readapting to this new life, learning a new language, and seeking to re-enter the job market to continue his career and pursue his personal and professional goals. Although his father was a Rotarian, Baruc himself has had no experience with Rotary until coming to Canada and visiting our Club.
