EDify Niagara Brings Educational Psychology Services to St. Catharines

The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore was pleased to welcome Chris Brown, M.Ed., Psychologist, as our guest speaker.

Chris, founder of EDify Multidisciplinary Services, shared how his team works with children, youth, adults, families, and schools to identify learning challenges and develop individualized plans that help people succeed.

One of the highlights of the presentation was hearing two real-life case studies involving eight-year-old children. Chris explained how comprehensive psychological assessments identified each child's unique strengths and challenges. Working collaboratively with parents and school staff, individualized support plans were developed to help the students thrive both academically and personally. These examples demonstrated the life-changing impact that early assessment and appropriate interventions can have.

Chris recently expanded EDify's services to St. Catharines, bringing specialized educational psychology services closer to families throughout the Niagara region. The new office offers psychoeducational assessments, ADHD and autism assessments, mental health assessments, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based services designed to support learning and well-being.

The presentation generated a great deal of interest from Rotarians, with many thoughtful questions about the assessment process, how schools and families work together, and the growing need for these services in our community. Chris's informative and engaging presentation helped members gain a greater appreciation for the important role educational psychologists play in helping individuals reach their full potential.

The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore thanks Chris for sharing his knowledge and congratulates him on the opening of EDify Niagara. We wish him and his team every success as they make a positive difference for children, families, and adults across our community.
