Rebecca’s Rotary journey is a true inspiring leader story - from participant in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) to President of Niagara Rotaract, District Rotaract Chair, active RYLA volunteer, and now serving as our District Alumni Chair!
She introduced us to the innovative work happening at the Rotary E-Club, a flexible, low-cost, online-based club designed for modern Rotarians!
How the E-Club Works:
Virtual Meetings: Meets once a month via Google Meet (1st Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM).
Connected Community: Uses WhatsApp for ongoing fellowship and club collaboration.
Shared Leadership: Members take turns organizing meetings and hosting speakers each month.
Unique Fellowships: From heavy metal lovers to ghost-hunting enthusiasts and Rotary Exchange Algonquin trips - there's something for everyone!
Core Focus: Driving impactful fundraising, membership growth, and cross-club collaboration.A huge thank you to Rebecca for sharing how digital spaces are expanding Rotary's reach across Southern Ontario and Western New York!
