The Rotary Club of St. Catharines Lakeshore was pleased to officially announce the launch of its Public Fundraising Campaign for the Clarice West Hobbs Contemplative Garden!

As outlined in an extensive article in the May 19th St. Catharines Standard, the goal for the Campaign is to raise funds to meet a Total Phase 1 and 2 Budget of $40,000. Fundraising is already well underway with a commitment of over $11,000 from the Club itself. Augmented by a further $10,000 received from individual Club members, other local Rotary Clubs, local chapters of organizations like District 14 Niagara RTOERO and Friendship Force Niagara as well as interested citizens at large, the Funds are in-house for Phase 1. The Club is  now looking to raise an additional $19.000 to fund Phase 2.
